Shape & construction

Construction

A user-friendly sail should never mean compromised build quality. The luff is 2.5 MIL x/scrim-ply, providing soft inflation and high load resistance. The main window is a solid 5 MIL monofilm for the best balance between visibility, impact resistance, and weight. The sail bottom is reinforced with robust 5 MIL x-ply for maximum protection against impacts and board contact.

For the upper part of the sail, a lighter 4 MIL blue-tinted monofilm is used, which reduces swing weight and provides UV protection. Along the leech and top panel, there is 5 MIL x-ply (clear and blue) for extra durability in areas that are always stressed during rigging and rolling up.

Freeride sailors who want a single sail for both fin-riding and foiling without compromising in either mode.

Pro tips

“I love the speed and easiness of the Ride MA. Make sure to play with the three clew positions. Start with the middle position. Choose the upper eyelet position for more power and drive. Switch to the lower clew position when you are light, easily overpowered or want a softer sail in general. Otherwise this is as easy as it gets. No cambers, soft batten rotation and a nice and locked profile.”
