Which wing is right for me?

  • Beginners: Volant Cross.An easy-to-handle crossover wing with a less-tensioned canopy that fills with wind early, two large PVC windows for visibility, and single-valve inflation. Sizes 3.0–6.0 m². The manufacturer highlights it as an affordable alternative to performance wings.
  • Advanced and competition-oriented: Volant Cross V2.One of the fastest wings on the market according to the manufacturer, with a loose trailing edge for speed. Sizes 1.8–6.0 m², from around 4 to over 45 knots.
  • A wing for everything: Chase VX Gen4(and the 2025 model as remaining stock) is a low-drag wing for racing and cruising, freestyle and waves. Sizes 3.0–6.6 m². Boom included.
  • Patrik Wing Gen3:the most advanced wing in the range, for those who are already actively sailing.

Size according to wind

The right size depends on your weight, the wind strength, and how you ride. Each product page has a table showing the recommended wind strength for a 75 kg rider. For example, the Volant Cross V2 4.2 m² is intended for around 15–25 knots, and the 5.4 m² for around 5–15 knots. A larger wing provides power in light wind, while a smaller one is easier to handle in gusty wind. Wings also require the right foiland board; see foil kits for wing foilingand wing foiling.
