Shape & construction

Shape

The fast rocker line with few rocker planes very quickly. The "bat-tail" and side cutouts work like on a slalom board, releasing water earlier, which propels the board to top speed quickly and makes it loose on straight lines and agile in turns.

Outline & Bottom Shape

Compared to the QT-Wave, the board is wider at the "1-foot" mark for even more planing, acceleration, and top speed. The cutout in the tail bottom acts as a hidden wing, reducing tail width in the strap area. The goal was a fast, controlled, and smooth ride, achieved with a single concave under the mast track that transitions into a double concave V under the straps.

Rails, Tuck & Deck Shape

For better turning ability on the wider shape, the rail thickness is reduced compared to the QT-Wave, and the tuck is slightly sharper for faster release. The slightly thicker center provides a more cushioned, comfortable deck when fully planing in the straps, with extra cupping under the back foot for more grip in rotations.
