Shape & construction
Short, compact shape with domed deck in the tail for better grip, and flatter under the front foot for comfortable switch-stance riding.
The pro riders chose durability over minimal weight – if the board breaks, it costs sailing time and repairs. A full carbon fiber/kevlar deck provides a light and impact-resistant construction, while biax-fiberglass in the bottom provides the necessary flex to withstand many hard landings.
Usage
Suitable for freestyle riders, from ambitious beginners to professionals, who want a board built for fast rotations, spins, and tricks – both in the air and on the water. The 85 is designed for lighter riders in strong winds, the 92 is the most all-round size (the PWA competition board), and the 99 provides the earliest planing with superior glide and rotation capability.
